Reeka Studios created the photography and artwork for Robot God by Monarkki, developing the release visuals from an original concept by Lily Monarch. The project centred on a futuristic, neon-led visual world that reflected Monarkki’s hyperpop sound and the wider themes surrounding the artist’s work, including online culture, techno-futurism and a strong connection to Finnish-inspired influences.

The shoot focused on a stylised robotic aesthetic, combining bold lighting, performance-led imagery and futuristic settings to build a world that felt synthetic, industrial and deliberately heightened. Reeka Studios captured Monarkki alongside her assistant Widget, shaping imagery that leaned into a sharp, slightly authoritarian visual language while still holding onto the bright, exaggerated energy of hyperpop.

Across both the main artwork and the wider promotional images, the aim was to create a consistent visual identity that matched the release and Monarkki’s live presence. Using the outfits worn by Lily and Widget onstage as part of the visual direction, Reeka Studios developed a body of work that brought together industrial textures, neon atmospheres and a distinctly hyperpop, techno-influenced feel.
