An upcoming play written in connection with SHR Theatre, following a friendship group trapped inside a rural Airbnb when relentless rain forces their annual hike to be abandoned.
The piece moves between deadpan social comedy and emotional confrontation, using the forced intimacy of a single living room to explore what happens when people who once knew each other completely realise they have become strangers. Its themes include nostalgia, friendship as obligation, grief rituals, disclosure, adulthood, marriage, addiction, parenthood, queerness, and the uncomfortable performance of having your life together.
