Reeka Studios developed the concept, photography and artwork for Waiting For It by Kayleigh Thorn, creating a visual direction that reflected the song’s themes of ambition, uncertainty and feeling as though life is moving forward while you are still waiting for your moment.

The shoot was built around a minimal setup, using simple props, natural surroundings and careful framing rather than overcomplicated staging. Reeka Studios worked closely with Kayleigh to plan and map out the shoot, choosing Ilkley Moor as the central location to connect the imagery to her time living and creating in Yorkshire, away from her native London.

Across the shoot, Reeka Studios captured a number of alternate artwork takes featuring Kayleigh seated atop the hill with a chair and guitar, giving the final imagery a stripped-back, reflective quality. Additional promotional shots placed her looking out across the city with her guitar, reinforcing the sense of distance, aspiration and quiet anticipation at the heart of the release.

Following the shoot, Reeka Studios spent significant time developing the final artwork and promotional edits, shaping the images for release materials while preserving the natural atmosphere of the location and the emotional tone of the track.
