Linda-Ray and Friends brought folk, rock and rap together with contemporary dance and stand-up comedy for a one-night live event at The Wardrobe in Leeds. The mix of performers made the show deliberately hard to categorise: part concert, part variety night and part celebration of the city’s creative community.
Reeka Studios directed and edited the making-of documentary, combining cast interviews, rehearsal material and behind-the-scenes footage with the build-up to the March 2023 performance. The film opens up the work behind the event as well as the people who brought it together.
