A documentary-led charity event film for The Lighthouse Club’s annual On Yer Bike cycling challenge, produced as commercial documentary coverage of riders travelling across the UK and Ireland.
The Lighthouse Club
The Lighthouse Club provides emotional, physical and financial assistance to people in need across the construction industry in the UK and Ireland. Reeka Studios documented their annual On Yer Bike charity cycling event, creating a film that captured the scale, atmosphere and purpose of the fundraiser.
For the film, we interviewed riders, followed the group throughout the route and filmed them on the road to capture both the endurance of the challenge and the personal stories behind it.
Alongside ground-level documentary coverage, we also used drone filming to follow the riders in a more cinematic way, giving the final piece a broader sense of movement, place and journey.
