Leeds / Yorkshire / UK
Reeka Studios creates video for businesses, artists, theatre-makers and organisations in Leeds, across Yorkshire and throughout the UK. We work across corporate films, branded content, live performance, events, music videos, documentary, social content, editing and post-production.
A flexible production partner
Video production is rarely one fixed process. Some projects begin with an idea that needs developing into a shoot; others arrive with footage already captured and need an editor to shape it into something coherent, on-brand and ready to publish.
Reeka Studios can work across the full process or step into a specific stage. That includes planning and filming, multi-camera live capture, interviews, documentary coverage, editing, colour and sound finishing, visual effects, captions, social cutdowns and delivery for different platforms.
Based in Leeds, the studio has been operating since 2010 and works with commercial clients, independent artists, theatre companies and creative collaborators. The aim is the same across each format: understand what the finished film needs to do, then build the production around that.

View project →How we work
We establish the audience, platform, deliverables, schedule and what the video needs to communicate before deciding how to shoot it.
Depending on the job, this can mean interview questions, shot lists, schedules, locations, crew, technical requirements and a clear route through the day.
From a single interview setup to a live multicamera performance, the coverage is designed around the edit rather than collecting footage without a plan.
Post-production brings the material together through editing, sound, colour, graphics, VFX and platform-specific versions. Editing-only projects can begin here.
